Honda Fourtrax 250ES Shift Issue
I have a honda fourtrax 250- the shift died and the numbers just blinked at me.
I googled it, figured it was the angle sensor, bought a new one and installed it.
Now the number no longer flashes... but it still wont shift. If you press the shift button there is no response at all. No flash, no attempt to shift... nothing!
Does anybody know what I should do next?

The first thing to check is if you can shift with the emergency lever. It is stiff, as you are spinning the reduction box and motor as well as changing gear, but if you can't change with that, something in the mechanical mechanism has broken. If you can change with the lever, I would check inside the shift motor for worn brushes, dust or oil, and dislodged magnets. They are a swine to get back together though. If the motor is OK and it still won't shift, check the wiring connectors. A total loss of function, without a fault code flashing, is often caused by the wires to the shift buttons, or the shift buttons themselves.
