No it would not blow a fuse, the CDI system works on negative outputs . If it shorts to ground it would not allow capacitor to load in the CDI.

We are only talking black and yellow wire.

My mistake, didn't refresh my memory... Black/blue is the 12v+ to the pump from the fuel cut. Black/Yellow also runs from the fuel cut to the CDI, Section 20-7, it's a simple test.

Info in my previous post is incorrect. I based that on what I read in another forum. After some hands-on with this bike....

The Fuel Cut is not a rollover switch, it simply shuts off fuel if no spark is present. I.E., engine dies, fuel pump shuts off. Most advise bypassing it to avoid getting stuck on the trail, since they do tend to fail.

so how would you bypass the fuel cut relay? would I connect the bl/blu and bl/br in the harness using a jump wire? what about the ground and the black/yellow wire?
