I havent done much to mine. Seems to run good. I have it basically left stock. But it seems a little bit dull on bottom. Half way through throttle it kicks in almost like a powerband. Any ideas?

I have had exactly the same experience, but I don't think it is just the carb. Mine has a furious hit at about 1/3 throtle, but is a bit bogey on the bottom. I lost low end as soon as I put the K&N on, even with the stock carb! I think my problem is that there is just to much air for the low stock compresion??? I'm going to try the old "torque stuffer" trick to see of I can get some low end back.

I notice you have a 440, so you no doubt have higher than stock compresion. Try playing with the pump shot adjustment, to see of you can improve low end throtle response. Don't be shy about playing with your carb adjustments. It is so easy, I do it out on the trail, and you can easily return it to stock if you don't like the changes. Also, call Edelbrocks tech service, to see what they suggest.
