I just got a 2 inch slice in a reare tire so i am going to try and dismount the tires and put on new ones myself. Thge problem is I cant even get the stupid lug bolts off! I have 2 off on one side but the other two are too tight and starting to become stripped so i decided to stop messing with them. I put WD-40 on them to soak and its still tight. The sockets I use with the extension is still too short to get inside the rear rim and turn it. What else can i do? Thanks!!!

use a 4 lug tire iron, thats what I had to do the other day after my bonehead friend tightened them last time on my 400 with an air wrench. Go to you local car parts store and get one for $4 stand on one end and pull like holly heck on the other

worst comes to worst, get an impact wrench and zip em off, they have a hammer, so they will rattle almost anything loose. If you don't have one a local body shop will. Good Luck

I would buy a 6" extension in whatever drive size your ratchet is and use that since it would be used for many other jobs later. Better yet, get a torque wrench to use instead of a regular ratchet. Those wheel nuts don't require much torque anyway..for example on Yamahas the spec is just 32 fp. I'm amazed that you haven't already twisted off one or more wheel studs from the rims. I think you need to be prepared to replace some of the studs..not a big deal to do. And torque the nuts to spec after you do the tire switch

Something is wrong here. The spec on ATV lug nuts is in the 40-50 lb range. Someone seroiusly overtightened these. You should be able to get them off with one hand. If you do get them off replace them and inspect your wheels/studs for damage.

Get a 6" extension a good ratchet and a torque wrench. Then get some pipe and torque that baby off. It will come off so easy with 4 feet of pipe.

Don't use a good torque wrench as a breaker bar. A torque wrench is for tightening nuts not breaking loose nuts that have been put on too tight. Get yourself a breaker bar and a friend with a big *ss to stand on it if yours isn't big enough to bust em loose.
