Just stay away from Arctic Cant. They have alot of long and short term quality issues that will cost you $$.

What type of riding do you do? Are you looking for a sport machine or a utility (4x4) machine? Do you like a clutch or automatic?

400ex all the way if you want a 5 speed. They are pleasure to drive, compared to the sport 400l.Have you considered a warrior?Try'em out and see what YOU like, and base your choice on that.

5 speed trail machines;400ex,warrior,400ex,mojave,400ex,300ex,40 0ex,lakota(auto clutch). Those should be available in good shape for your price range.

98 Sport 400L
RCR pipe
HPD clutch
HSP 42mm flatside
V force delta reed cage
Wiseco piston

EX, Honda is discounting the crap out of them right now. You could pick up a great deal on a great quad!!!

450HondaForemans: Without going into a bashing post on the Arctic Cat could you expand on your comments on the cats. I am looking into a second quad and I have been looking at the cats. Thanks ........ MJSTX
