Weight matters on any size machine but, yes, the smaller engines will be more affected by it than the larger machines.

 

90% RIDER, enough said. take Jeremy Magrath (sp) put him on a 250EX made of lead, and a beginner on a banshee, on a MX track and jeremy will prevail!!!

 

Yea of course he can on a track im talking straight shot... no bumps or nothing

 

oh, sorry, i missunderstod you. well than it still take a some what good rider to shift at the right time (or power shift) but i think eqaul riders on a mojave and 250EX that the mojave would win

 

I have been preaching this for years. Weight is everything on these quads. Why can my 11 year old brother keep up with me on a piped 400? Because he weighs half as much as me. Finally a discusion on this subject. Cut weight and gain horse power.

 

Thank you prang... I was just thinking... like i said i did beat a 2 stroke blaster... and couldnt beat a mojave it MUST be the weight.... and mine is a 250x NOT a 250ex
