The engine braking will not do much below say 7-8mph.
If you run to thr top of a gear in ESP it will bobble at the rev limiter.
Starting out in 2nd gear is no problem, and it actually seems to pull as hard or harder than my SP!
Stock tires are more styled for a 400EX typr machine. They have pretty darn good cornering ability. Look to be worthless in mud IMHO.
It really likes to be short-shifted and WORKED is my initial impression. Cruises easily at 55mph, but doesn't seem to want to top 60mph.
I break my stuff in aggressively, but did not hold it wide open for long...

i was always told to break it in like your gonna ride it, if not you get a sissy machine. i broke mine in (XR250) at 110km/h and it hasn't given me a problem in 3-4 years!
ostie- i was just joking, dad would give me his rincon for the weekend if i didn't have a kodiak (when i just had the XR he gave me the 300 all the time) i road a p650, sp700........ so he knows i can handle it! besides i ride myu brothers CR250!

Very Nice !! My e-mail is t_enochs@yahoo.com Can't wait to see the video. By the way, a friend of mine saw the ATV Television show where they test the new Rincon. Here's his comment about the show,
"The ATV show does not like the Rincon! They do not like the trans or the lack of low gearing! They say it is more for sport then trail riding. Also say the Prairie is faster."
Pretty interesting! Anyway send that e-mail and thanks for the follow up.
Best Regards,

Here's My video.
I was driving across a local field that was a little up hill. Keep in mind I was driving with one hand and taping with the other, the second run was more aggressive than the first, in fact the front end came off the ground over a foot when I started off. You can see in the second run that it accelerates rather quickly.
