Rincon Information
#12
My Dad bought one and it looks awsome. From what he has said it's a really good machine until it broke. The overtemp light comes on and stays on after 2-3 min. The elec fan would not come on at all. It made a weird grinding sound a couple times and the we coulden't get it to repeat. It has less than 10 hours and less than 50 miles on it. I haven't rode it yet, so it's not been rode hard yet. We'll see how it does after the repairs.

I RIDE THE HATFIELD MCCOY TRAIL ABOUT 2 OR 3 TIMES A WEEK,JUST PURCHASED A RED RINCON.I GOT MINE IN N.C. SAVED ABOUT 900 FROM WHAT OUR LOCAL DEALER SELLS THEM FOR. THE RINCON IS A GREAT RIDE VERY SMOOTH AND A LOT OF POWER.THE ONLY FAULT I HAVE WITH THEM IS THE TRANNY WON'T HOLD YOU BACK OR SLOW YOU DOWN VERY MUCH GOING DOWN STEEP GRADES.OTHER THAN THIS, I HAVE NO PROBLEMS WITH IT.

Yes,
I'm also finding the lack of engine braking to be the case with my Rincon. No engine braking to speak of below 8mph. I e-mailed ATV 4-Wheel Action about their 5 Star rating for downhill on the Rincon ride review. Wanted to see if engine braking was a criteria for the downhill rating. If it is, how in the world can a machine with this small amount of engine braking been given the highest rating. Kind of makes you wonder about the legitimicy of these reviews. Can you say "Buying a Great Review?".
