I went on the Mobil web site the 15w/50 is made for cars and is excellent for super chrge and turbo cars. Why put this in my ATV also they have a motercycle Mobil 1 10w/40 synthetic why not just use this? Wouldn't Mobil know which is best for what vehical? Just trying to make sence of this. Alot of guys swear by the 15w/50. Wouldn't mobil state this is great for ATVs if it was it cost more then the 10/40 so they would make more money. Also is synthetic better then regular some say it makes the clutch slip.

If you are the casual rider, go with the Honda GN4 10W40.

If your quad is mildy modified and ride hard go with the Honda HP4 10W40....It is a semi-synthetic.

If your engine is "built" go by the recommendations from your engine builder.

By the way.... Mobil 1 makes the Honda GN4 and HP4, so if Mobil 1 is easier to find in your area, go with it. It is also slightly cheaper than the Honda "brand".

stay with the Honda brand and keep up on your oil changes, using a synthetic will cause clutch slippage after extended use. Synthetics are actually to slick allowing slippage
