Gas-Gas 300cc 2 stroke.......
#1
Is it me, or is this the ultimate quad?
Isnt this what tons of people have been begging for?
2 stroke, LQ cooled, no rev. 376 lbs, long travel susp.
This IS the new 250R. (300R)
Why no hype about it? If this comes to the states, it should
sell like crazy. (exept for the fact that it is a new 2 stroke... meaning it would be california red-stickered. Could only ride it in the winter months here in Cali)

It COULD be THE quad, but there are alot of obstacles that keep it from standing out right now.
They still haven't announced it officially that they will build it anyway. nothing but prototypes and yada yada yada......same thing they did 3 years ago.
Their number of U.S. resources and dealer base is very low. Almost all GasGas dealers are located in the deep south.
There is only one warehouse in the U.S. that even stocks parts for the dealers. It is smaller than my house!! You might could gather enough parts to build a couple of bikes and that's it.
I know alot of local riders who race hare scrambles with the bikes and they have nothing but good things to say about the bikes, but nothing but bad things regarding dealers, parts availability, and customer satisfaction.
If they can improve this and release a quad at the same time, I think it would be great.....But if not, they will end up like the 1998 Husaberg Enforcer 600 models.
BTW....Does anyone on this forum own an Enforcer or previously owned one??

That sounds about right. Gas Gas just does not have the ability to produce enough units to really be a great quad for the U.S. market. Even if they are the greatest thing since ball point pens, most people will never see one, they will be rare, an oddity, just like the bikes. Too bad, it looks to be a nice ride.
