Default Brand new exhaust

I just recently installed a brand new dual DMC Force 4 exhaust system onto my raptor 700 (2007). When i run it the headers on this exhaust gets cherry red hot and glows even! Whats going on?? Will a DMC efi controller help? Is my coolant not flowing? why who where what etc etc etc????
Anyone experience this before?

welcome to the forum. your best bet is to post this question on the yanaha frum for best answers. sounds like the bike is running extremly lean, did you put an aftermarket air filter on as well to help air flow?

yeah, i have just a foam twin air filter. A friend of mine said it was probably burning lean too.. A efi controller would help then?
Where do i go to post to the yamaha forum?
