2000 Mojave

Both are two of the best woods quads you could ever get. The 300EX SHOULD have a little more power(50cc advantage), but from what I've seen, a Mojave will beat a 300EX. It may create a little conflict from me saying this, but I'm only saying what I've witnessed as far as one smoking the other. They both are very similar, as they have excellent handling and maneuverability, and they have that nice low end power to fly smoothly through the woods. The 300EX is considered to have a slight edge on the Mojave, as in the mags it wins all the shootouts with quads of its kind. They are both very reliable, so you can forget about fixing more than riding. Neither are in the same league as the 400EX, Banshee, Quadracer, 250R, etc..., but if you're riding the woods, the 300EX is uppposed to be the best new quad you can get for sport riding, even when compared to the hi-performance quads.
Awesome jumpers, 2 of the best woods quads, excellent handling, very reliable quads.

I have had an 89 mojave for about a year and have had no problems.I run a k&n filter a jet kit 14 tooth front sprocket and 20 in pure sports bandit tires.I love the quad. Its fast, agile, and very reliable. It does have two things I dont like. The headlite is marginal at best and electric start wouldnt hurt. Mine always starts on the second kick though.Although the plastic on mine is red, its heart is pure GREEN! next week I will be racing against my buddies similarly modified 300ex. Ill let you know how I do!

Hey i will tell you that there is not much differance in the ksf and the ex as far as top end. The bigggest differance is the size
of the ridder the ex is more comfortable for the taller person and the ksf is better foe the shorter person...
My kawai just blew up last weekend but she is at the shop getting fixed... I dont know why she blew but she did but that wouldnt stop me from getting another one becouse im waiting on my 00 Mojave to get here...

I have a '98 Mojave and am thrilled with it. For the money, I dont think I could have gotten a better quad. Compared to the 300 ex, I have never lost a drag race. A buddy of mine has a '97 300ex and I can always take him! When he rides mine he says the Mojave has more power in higher RPM's than his 300. I tell him it must be the higher compression and superior cooling system.

Someone can correct me if I am wrong but I believe the Mojave puts out more power than the 300EX. There is only a 33cc difference not 50cc. Also the Mojave is DOHC while the EX is SOHC. Both have 4 valves/cylinder though. I considered buying the Mojave before I got my Warrior because you get so much at a great price. My dad is thinking of buying one. I am sure you won't be disappointed with either machine.
