hey do you know were i could find a after market air box for my mojave?

There arent any aftermarket air boxes for the Mo, and i wouldnt get one if there was. Get a clamp on instead and get rid off the whole air box setup.

i kind a thought there wasn't one but i was just making shure. I'v been looking for a smaller back sprocket for my mo. but i cant seem to find one any mags. or the web. Just wondering if anyone knows of a mag. or web site.

Guy as one that has had 3 Mojaves do all yourselves a favor,,,,ajust them valves evey 3 tanks if not you will mushroom the valves the valves are to weak to let ajustment to stay out if you do this you will get alot more hours out of your bike PS...if it starts to get hard to start you already have a problem...

i already had that problem i took the top end out of it and that wasn't cheap so i dont want that to happen again.

You can get a 41t rear sprocket at www.denniskirk.com i think its like $20.

Wow! Mines not that bad.

I adjusted my valves at around 20 hours. I found the intake in the right side tight and adjusted it to spec.

At 50 hours I found it tight again, re-adjusted it again.

At 100 hours I checked them and they were fine.

I quit going by hours and remove the cover 2 times a year. Once in summer and once in winter. So far they have stayed in spec and have quit sinking.

Been 2 years now w/o me having to adjust them although I do check them. I ride 50-100 miles a weekend and am planning a 300 mile round trip ride.

I'll check them befor I go on this ride.

My friend you are one that is to be thankful I had 3 and all were the same...please if you ride them hard have them adjust ever 3 tank fulls unless you have $500 bucks to do a valve job with 4 weeks for it sitting I'm not kidding do it even if you think it's fine because it's not, that is the weak spot on a Mojave the valves are way too soft Kawasaki even knows this Dirt Wheels magazine oct issue 1989. you need stainless steel valves if your a real hard core rider and want reliablity. Beware KSF 250 riders I know had 3 of them!!!!![img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img]

Sorry one more thing I'm a animal freak I adjust mine about everyother tank yes it's way to much but that is what I'm all about,,,,if your in Reno, Nv look me up I will do it for you I love to do it. It tells me alot about ATVwhen I get into it...

i dont tihnk i have to worry with the race cams heavy duty valve springs titanium retainers and the stainless steel valves with port job and 3 angle valve grind, also www.sprocketspecialists.com is the best place for sprockets, the range from 28 to 45 teeth for the back sprocket on the mojave
