We did this to one a few weeks ago, it was completly under for 15 minutes or so. We did all the same stuff you did and we also drained the Carbs (little allen head screw on the carb) had to drain all the gas. after we put fresh fuel in it fired up. We had to run it for awhile then it cleared up and is still running great!

yes, havinsomefun is right on. take out that little allan head on the carb, drain out the fuel in the carbs. we had the same problem, changed the oil, took out the plugs, it would turn over but not catch. soon as we undid the carb drain all was good. we did all of this on trail when it was like 30 degrees out, it was so much fun, hehe

Well we dried her out a little more and opened up the 2 allen screws. The first was dry, but the second was pretty full. Started up great! Going to change the oil and filter again after we let the engine run a bit.
Thanks guys, and thanks for the offer jps. Glad I didnt have to take you up on it.

Thats cool. And I was worried about a little water in the CVT I only was up to the racks for a couple seconds.
Maddog, did the engine get killed by water or did you shut her down before hand?
So when the Prairie goes swimming should you change the diffs? I just looked at mine and didnt see any water floating so I left it.
Is there suggestions on protecting the CDI in advance?
Thanks guys!

The front end sunk out of sight but the exhaust didnt go under so it was shut off when it was obvious it wasnt coming out on its own power.
My suggestion is to hit each plug with dilectric grease, seals them just about as well as you can without compromising the usefulness of a plug.
