Thumbs up Kawasaki Prairie / Brute Force Front Differential Bearing & seal kits Special Tool

Anyone who owns a Kawasaki Prairie , Brute Force or any other machine with the Kawasaki driveline will eventually experience front differential seal leaks, water intrusion & bearing wear..
My front pinion seals are leaking again on my 04 P-700 so I got on EBAY & looked up BossBearing & found this kit since I plan on replacing the pinion bearing this time, I believe bearing wear is causing pinion shaft play causing the seals to leak.

330790615064 - Ebay Item number:

I fount his bearing/seal kit from BossBearing shipped to my house cost only $67.49 & it comes with both of the big needle type bearings a lot of front differential bearing kits dont have...
I ordered it on Ebay on a tuesday night and they were in my Mailbox when I got off work that friday night.
They also provided a phone number if you do not want to deal with Ebay. They are out of Statesville NC area...

................................

You will also need this special tool (59.00 + $8.00 shipping) to loosen & PROPERLY tighten the front pinion bearing nut into the front differential housing, it also loosens the nut holding the bearing onto the pinion gear...

Ebay item number 170671611679

Kawasaki ATV Pinion Bearing Nut Tool
Manufacturer part # TF-K511178
USA Made. This is a special tool designed to remove and reinstall the pinion bearing nut or lock nut screw Part #92009-1914 in Kawasaki 4 Wheelers. This tool also removes and reinstalls the center nut on the pinion shaft. Fits: Front differentials on 650
Brute Force 2005 thru 2010, 750 Brute Force 2005 thru 2010, 360 Prairie 2003 thru 2010, 650 Prairie 2002 thru 2003 and 700 Prairie 2004 thru 2006.
It`s from Tennessee, I just ordered it so when it comes I will provide the name of the company that made/shipped it if they deal direct without ebay for those who dont want to deal with ebay...

The tool from Kawasaki is $180 so I can see why some guys are making this tool out of Plumbing tools & welding in material at the base and welding a socket to the top but if the nut is frozen in the housing you could do m ore damage without the proper tool....Also the plumbing tool can be weak & the time & material invested is not worth it since this tool is only $67.00 shipped to your door ....

I received the tool. Arrived quickly from a company called
Turtle Fountains LLC out of Galloway TN.
Apparently they custom manufacture tools along with fountains.

Just bought one of these kits from Bossbearing.com. Great kit since it has EVERYTHING you need in one place and its a good price. Had to call in cause ebay was screwed up for my payment and they are great people to deal with on the phone as well. Ended up buying my swing arm and arm bearings from them at the same time.
Good experience with these guys so far....

Thanks for the post, it helped me out.
