KAWASAKI MULE 550 slips on Hills when hot!
#11
OK guys. I have a successful update. I Removed The front clutch and took it to a dealership and had it inspected and the tech said it was all working properly. I Showed him my driven clutch pulley and he agreed it isn't supposed to black and had gotten hot in the past. After buffing both sides of the pulley the driven clutch and putting everything back together. I loaded the wife (125 lbs), my daughter (135 lbs), myself (250) and we took the mule to a nearby subdivision lots big hills and putting everything back together I loaded the wife (125 lbs), my daughter (135 lbs), myself (250) and we took the mule to a nearby subdivision lots big hills. It did great. I guess I never really knew how the mule was supposed to perform correctly, as I've only owned it for a few months. Before I could "hear" it "gear down" but now I hear and feel it. It never slipped one time.
