The I was for independent rear suspension. Kawasaki no longer makes a Brute Force with a solid rear axle. That's a shame, in my opinion. I nearly bought a solid axle 650 before I got my Grizzly but someone else beat me to it. I kinda like that it was the only quad left over 500cc that had a solid axle. Independent rear suspension is a softer ride and more ground clearance but a solid rear axle reduces weight a little and makes the quad a bit sportier. No rear cv shafts to be replaced or boots to get torn either. It was unique for the few years it was built. Now its gone. Sounds like a great deal. The trailer is only worth about $500, so basically asking about $4500 for the quad. I'd definitely give it a thorough inspection and test ride to make sure its good to go. Definitely make sure there's a title too. I assume this was found on craigslist or similar site. The title is to make certain its not stolen. A quad that new should have a title.

Good luck. Sometimes you find someone who just wants to sell and doesn't care about getting full retail price for their machine. Maybe he just doesn't ride anymore and simply doesn't want it sitting around anymore. A lot of older guys go wth side by sides because they're easier to ride and more comfortable than a quad. Might be the case here.
