Default Electric start problem someone help!

Hey guys I have a Kawasaki 220 bayou and I have been just using the pull start since I bought it because I didn't want to buy a battery. The guy I bought it off of said the electric start does work. I hooked jumper cables up to a battery and tried starting it. It didn't make any noise when I pushed the botton but the neutral light turns on and headlights work. Why won't the electric start work when everything else does? And no there was no clicks or noises. Thanks

Default Never mind

I think it was just the battery. It did not have enough juice. I had jumper cables hooked up to a battery that was not in a car. I think it only had enough juice to turn lights on considering it did nothing when clicking electric start botten. If there were any clicks it could be a number of different things wrong but nothing. I ordered a new battery and will see how it works then

Was the kill switch turned on? Check all your electrical connections....if not used for a while they may be corroded. Wire brush until shiney the put back together, each connection needs to be taken apart and cleaned.

Default Fixed it

It was not the battery that fixed the problem. It was the starter circuit relay was no longer good.
