Okay I'll look at the spark plug.And the fuel tank filter.I am cleaning the air filter right now.

I thought the 300's topped out around 40-45mpg, mine did.. however, try looking up "Nyrocks Atv website" he was a Kawasaki guru at one time and had a lot of great fixes for problems. You will probably have to search the archives to get back to the years you have but I found the site to be very valuable for troubleshooting on my Praire 300

When mine had that problem it was because of a hole in the diaphragm in the top of the carburetor. https://atvconnection.com/forums/kaw...-t-rev-up.html
