Bayou Flywheel gear question
Bayou 220 has been sitting in pieces for some time, too many projects going, but I need to get this thing going!
Had to replace timing chain, so flywheel and starter gear are off. My question is, off the crank before it's installed, the back of the flywheel has the one way clutch for the gear to spin. Once it's installed on the crank, should I still be able to turn the gear one way without turning engine over? It doesn't, and I don't know if that's right..don't want to put the rest of it together just to have to take it back apart if that's not correct...which would be the story of my life!
