Default 110cc chinese camshaft question

Can anyone tell me if the camshaft on a 110cc should spin freely when putting the timing chain sproket back on, or should it be firm because of the valve springs pushing on the lobes.......or something?

My first time on here, and doing a top end on an engine like this.

Welcome to the forums.
Valves need to be set (usually .0004 or so) but yes it shouldn't spin freely because of valve contact.
