I have a 2001 Eton DXL 90 that has no spark. There are 6 wires going to the CDI, white/blu,brn,black/white,blk,blk/red,blu/yel. Stop switch good. Where do I start?

 

try a new spark plug yet?
how about checking the rear tether kill switch if applicable?
your kill switch is ok?
check your kill switch on your keyed ignition?
not just the run/off/run switch on the left handlebar, but your keyed ignition switch. sometimes those wires come loose or ground out.

 

No teather switch on this one. New plug. Is there a test procedure for ignition switch? It seems to energize power to everything like it should

 

are there any other troubleshooting diagnostics i can do on this machine?

 

I have a 2001 E-Ton Beamer(49cc). Had the same issue, no spark. I replaced the coil, the cdi box went through the entire wiring harness, pulled half my hair out and considered setting it on fire before i figured out it had a bad stator.

I don't know about your specific model, but the stator on mine is unique. Just a random OG or Minerelli type stator won't work. If your stator is bad yer gonna have to spend the $120.00 for an E-Ton specific stator.
