Default Shocks for 110cc Tao Tao

I'm looking to upgrade the shocks on my sons new 2015 tao tao 110cc. Can anyone recommend some that will soften the ride so its not so stiff? Ive searched around on ebay and it doesn't seem like there is a go to brand that is a clear fit and will help. Thank you in advance

I replaced the ones on my granddaughters Panther 110 with Kymco shocks from a Mongoose 90. The rear was a direct bolt in. The fronts I had to make an upper mounting tab and drop it two inches. Seems much better than the stock shocks that must of been set p for a 250 lb. man. An Arctic Cat or Kawasaki KFX 90 are all the same machines so you can search for them also if you wanted to go that route. Got mine of Ebay new for a pretty good price. My grandson has a Kymco 90 so I was able to check his shocks against hers. Keep the air pressure low in the tires helps also. We are running 3.5#, you will have to check them more frequently when they are that low.

not sure if yours have the adjusters on them but are they cranked to the lowest setting? Also as stated above the tires tend to leak at lower pressures Running tubes cures this problem. Also with the lower pressure it makes the steering a little stiffer. Make sure your shock bolts are not over tight if the shock cannot move it makes it much stiffer. I find the rears are pretty soft but the fronts are an the stiff side. If you pull one off and measure eye to eye you should be able to find a ebay shock to fit that is a little more adjustable.
