Default What about Xtreme

Does anyone have much to say about the Xtreme brand atv's? I just won a 90 scrambler, and already own a eton 50
and a longchang 90. After getting the polaris the longchang seamed like a pile! So I sold the LC to buy another polaris, but after looking around I found the Xtreme, and the guy selling them said they are made by the same company that makes the polaris. So I bought the Xtreme 100, but the machine seams to have alot of engine vibration, the polaris is alot smoother . The machines do look almost identical except the plastics. someone tell me I didn't buy another lemon

The biggest problem I've had so far with my son's Xtreme 90 is the cheap plastic cracking. Other than that it has been fine. Only time will tell if it holds up in the long run. Keep an eye on the crappy air filter set up. It doesn't like to seal many times.

X-treme is not made by the same company that makes polaris. However the company that makes Extreme makes some parts for Polaris, as with every Chinese and Taiwanese manufacturer, they all make some parts for the majors. The X-Treme however is a good unit and should do you well.

At one time the xtreme product may have been built buy aeon. As JHILL says, it is not any more, The air box system refered to as a problem is potentially a common thing with all of the import mini-quads of this style. In other words the Polaris, eton, kasea, etc.... However it is not a problem with every one of the quads.
To fix a potentially bad air box from sucking sand, I would seal with clear RTV,around the seam where the two halves meet.
The xtreme brand has proven to be reliable and very raceable. The company, personel, and parts supply are all A+.
Go ride, and do the recommended maintenance and the little quad will be great. Use a high quality injector oil for the best overall performance.

Keep the big adults off of your childrens toys. Xtreme has toys the adult size too.

My son has an Xtreme Machine X90, too! Man, I thought it was the only one. It is made by Aeon. At least his is. It is identical to the Polaris. However, I'm having a hard time finding parts. I need new rear brakes and a new gas cap. Where is the best place to get parts? Thanks!

Must be cheap gas caps ours broke already too. Do you have a lot of engine vibration? Thats the only thing that really bugs me about the xtreme. other than that It seams to be pretty quick compared to the scrambler 90

Yes, it does seem to vibrate quite a bit. It's the only 90 I've been on so I didn't have anything to compare it to. The Polaris motor is the same. I wonder what's different in the mounting that takes the vibration out.

Two different plastics, one hard and one soft. The hard one loses every time. The early 1970's Ymaha,Suzuki oil injection caps had the same problem.

I feel the vibration through the handle bars , how could the plastics have anything to do with that? It does have one more motor mount than the polaris, it's on the front of the motor where the polaris doesn't have one
