Looking to buy 4-year old first 4-wheeler?
My boy sarted on his E-ton 50 when he turned three. He made 4 12/11/03 and rides MX almost every weekend. His 50 is plenty for him. He was running it wide open with no restricters about the same time as his 4th b-day. I put a WRH pipe on it and he will be good with that for a long time. ITS FAST!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know that some think that maybe an LT80 may be a little much for a 4.5 year old. She started out on a little electric quad so she had some of the fundamentals down. She also has some seat time on an old ATC 70.
I was exactly where you we're a year ago when my daughter was 3 mos. shy of being 5 yrs. I looked at the the 80cc - 90cc ie., honda, raptor, dinli, kasea, and predator at the time with my daughter to get her sized up. The honda was too big, the raptor looked nice but didn't like the front suspension design. I finally, I went with a used LT80 and it has been a great quad for her.
Her first ride was in an open area, I screwed the governor (throttle limiter) pretty far in and hopped on the back to make sure that she was comfortable on the quad. She ride with limited throttle even though she thinks she is ready to open it up. She rides probably 1 - 2 times a month sometimes a little more frequent.
