Which 80 or 90 CC
Hi ,
Have not been on for a long time but i have a kids quad question .
My son who is 7 has now got far to big for his lt50. he is young but tall.
I thought of blaster but might be a bit much for him for a couple of years yet. Size he could almost do it but 200cc two stroke could get him in trouble.
Im looking at LT80, LTZ90 if i can strech the cash or thioer is a 2010 Honda sportax 90 pretty close i was thinking about.
# 1 priority is that it starts every time and doesnt break i work away a lot and his mother isnt much of a mechanic.
So whats the good and bad of the susukis and the honda ?
Any opinons on others Polaris etc im all ears

LT80:: unless it's jumped hard and land on one wheel ()cracked cases) the LT80 is mighty dependable. I get ppl still telling me about 1987 LT80's that's in great shape.
CVT tranny.
TRX90: Prolly the most bulletproof mini made.
You shift this machine (auto clutch).
LTZ90:: guttles wonder. You wonder why you bought it...
Polaris/eton/kasea/drr/apex:: all fine Tiawaneese machines that will serve you well.

thanks i apreciate the advice.
So the ltz four stroke lost the power of the 80 two stroke, shame!
Interesting the TRX has a shifter thats a good halfway house to get him into gears without having to learn clutch at the same time.
I rember the ATC 11o being the same when i was a kid.
I will look atthe lt 80 and see what there are in the way of TRX but they are hard to find the one i called about was sold.
