I am in need of some serious help, I came across this 4 wheeler for a really good price. Its a QINGQI 250cc and I can not find anyone who sells parts for the damn thing. I need a transmission for it. So if you know anyone who sells parts or any dealers I would greatly appreciate the help. Take care

CAn you post some pics so we can see what it is. Most Chinese atv's have interchangeable parts.

The Qingqi 250 is also sold as the Redcat DPX-250, Roketa ATV-01 and Terminator ATV-01. The part you have pointed out isn't really the transmission (that's handled by the belt and pulley system on the left side of the ATV), but rather the reverse gearbox. I'm willing to bet you have either forward or reverse, but not both, correct?

With that said, I've got a link to where you can buy one, but the site is not a sponsor here, so I don't know if it's alright to post. If not, you should be able to hunt it down with the information above. Good luck.

THis is an old post, but is your quad a shaft or chain drive? If it's shaft drive, I'm willing to bet you have a broken motor mount or a bolt missing on one. When the motor twists from the torque, you're separating the the coupling collar in the shaft and you've stripped the splines on the driveshaft. I've seen the exact same thing happen before and it sounded just as you describe.
