07 KFX90 WIRING(CDI)/NEED HELP!!!!!
Man, I needs some serious tech info. To make a long story short , I bought a KFX90 cdi box for my sons 07 KFX50. Well of course it wont work!!!! I spent a lot of research tring to figure this out. Come to figure out that the actual CDI on the KFX50 is a four wire(prong) 12V system(black=hot wire/kill) ,( green=ground), (black/yellow=coil) and (blue/yellow==pulse coil).
Most bikes run a 5- wire configuration w/ a exciter wire from the stator to the CDI box.
Anyways , could someone with a KFX90 2007-2008 MODEL please tell me how many wires enter the CDI box!!! Color code for the wires would be great also. I just need to figure out if the KFX90 is a 4 or 5 wire system.
Also , If anybody knows where to get a 4 wire no rev cdi box, please let me know or any other ideas would be great!!!
Actually, if you are running a four wire cdi box on your bike(regardless of make/model). Please let me know so I can research it. Thanks!!

Thats sweet, thats what im starting on, on my sons quad (mongoose90) whats the best way to re-adj. the clutch, after taking and the collar off. I also put on a performance boss drive face. And What company did you go with for sprockets?</end quote></div>
Well , I installed 2000RPM clutch springs in the clutch , I wasnt able to change out the main spring because It didnt fit with the original sleeve that keeps it in place. So what does that amount too? The bike moves sooner with less RPM level.
Did you adjust the roller weights when you put the boss on?
Rebelgears.com for ther front sprocket. A bit pricey , but it works. Assuming that the front sprocket is the same as mine, you will need part# 333 when you order.
I got the rear sprocket off ebay. It actually for a Kasea 50/90
