i see where airmobile101 has a ooracing no rev box on his 50. was that a big improvement.....im not going to sink much into this thing but the 15-18 mph is a bit slow for my little speed demon.do you remember how much it cost and possibly a part number....if not ill wait till the first of the week and call them....

 

Go to OORACING web site. Click Monkey Bike tab, then click Electrical and scroll down to the 4-PIN 14000 rpm cdi. If I remember correctly, It was around $56.00-$60.00 with shipping. It arrived within 6 days. I have the pic's in my gallery that show how its hooked up. Its pretty much a Lifan cdi box, but it works. My advice would be to put a bigger front sprocket or smaller rear sprocket on before the cdi. That way, the rpm level won't shoot through the roof on ya!!!

Do you know anything about the05 KFX 50. I have removed the following, throttle screw, intake ring that is between the carb and the head. Also removed one from the exhaust.

I'm trying to get a few more HP's out of my sons lil 50cc and I've noticed that your pretty much the Guru when it comes to moding this minis.

So for I've removed the restrictor is the exhaust, put a complete FMF exhaust and turned the thumb throttle screw all the way out.

I read where you mentioned something about removing a restrictor in the from the intake. Do you have a few pics and a few more details how to do this?

I'm also very interested in replacing the CDI box with the one from OOracing. Do you have a part number and a step by step on how to wire it up?

I also want to swap out the clutch bearing with some little one and maybe removing a couple. Do you have any pics and part number for this?

I would really appreciate any help you might be able to provide.
