Default need help with lt80

hey guys, i know this question seems funny but its really not, i have an 87 lt80 for my 2 kids, i have had it apart for a few years, got divorced and moved a few times since then, well i had jack fix the cylinder and mill the head for some more power, now i am finally getting ready to get it ready for the kids and i cant find the front cover with ignition switch for the life of me. does anyone have a wiring schematic or know how to by pass the need for the ignition switch so my kids can ride this weekend until i get a new cover and switch?

Well that sux.
You can try jumping wires. It shouldn't hurt anything if the wires are wrong.

I think it's a 4 wire connector under the hood. I'm sure it's the only 4 wire connector so it should be able to be found.

That turned out great....Ive been meaning to paint about 3 sets of steel wheels around here on my quads and never got to it. Did you have to do alot of prep work to get that kind of result? What type of paint did you use?

thanks man, i really didnt do too much prep work, i washed the dirt off them, used a wire brush to take the loose paint/rust off, then wiped them down with some denatured alcohol to remove any grease and loose dirt, then sprayed. my kid is sooooo happy now.

in case anyone needed to know how to jump the ignition switch, just jump the red wire and the orange wire, it worked perfect. unfortunately i think the float needle is messed up because it had fuel running out of the vent nipple on the carb.
