Eton50 new key 0 spark
It's been so long since I've been on this board I forgot my old user name. I always come here for info but this time I'm really stuck since electrical is my weak point.
Here's the deal... I put the Viper 50 away at the end of last season and it was running great. I pulled it out this year and the ignition switch was acting finicky. If I messed with it just right things were good enough to get it running. Never leaving well enough alone I ordered a new switch.
Here's where I screwed up... I didn't pay attention to the order of the wires as they were plugged into one another since the 4 plug connectors were different sizes. Being an electrical moron I wired it red to red... Black to black etc.... I blew fuses immediately.
I think I wired it correctly finally since the lights go on and it turns over BUT now I have no spark. My question is... Other than the fuse is there anything else I would have automatically blown considering how I incorrectly wired it the first time?
Thanks for any help.
