Suzuki LTA-50 Top End Kit - Any experience with TopEndFix.com?
These guys sell a turnkey kit...cylinder, head, piston, rings, etc for $149. It cost me $60 to bore and hone and $95 for a piston kit. Same price basically, but this is a bolt on solution at home without having to send out cylinder for boring. Piston/rings/head and base gasket::Estimated Order Total: $58.65
I bought a cheap LT80 kit. Didn't go so well. The piston wasn't clearanced properly (so I fixxed that) and when it did run, it stuck the piston before any break-in could be achieved. I'm not happy with the cheap kits.
They import these China kits for like 12 bucks.
I stuck a Suzuki piston in it and so far it's fine.
