Eton Viper 90 Top End Question
Hi Guys,
Quick question I hope the experienced community could answer or help me out for my son.
Finished a top end on my sons eton 90. I finished the top end and everything seems to be moving freely. While the engine was out, I took out the front clutch system to check everything out. Well when I finished reinstalling everything. When I went to tighten the main nut the whole thing would just lock up and not turn. When I loosened the nut everything came free again. The order I put everything back was:
1. Face Drive (Drive that holds the rolller's)
2. Boss Drive (Cylinder)
3. Cooling fan
4. Star Key
5. One Way Clutch Gear (Kickstart)
6. Washer (Raised not flat)
7. Main Hex Nut
I think that is all and I am not missing any parts or am I?
Any help would be greatly appreciated by my son.

What locked up?
I've taken this apart 100 times by now, trying to find a leak that was getting into the pulley system, which had the belt slip.
I found it last year, replaced the engine seal (replaced ALL gaskets and seals on engine side [except a few metal ones, top end], and now have another leak (assuming transmission, maybe neutral switch wire area?).
I'm a master at putting this back together. Literally.
I know the face drive is a very tight squeeze and won't move.
Do note, this assembly is not supposed to move. The engine moves this. Once this is put back together, it should not move. If it does, the engine won't be controlling it and it will not go anywhere. The crankshaft will turn this assembly.
