I purchased a Eton 90 for my daughter for Christmas. It is a 2 stroke with reverse. It has no spark, i replaced the igniton switch ans still have no spark. The gear selector lights do not come on. When I turn the key on the engine oil lights comes on for a second then goes of. The motor turns over but no spark. Please help I need to get this fixed for Christmas.

 

You said you changed the switch, I would change the coil...that's where the spark comes from.

 

Yes change the ignition coil next. If that's no giving spark could be cdi. I've had this problem too. It was the coil.

 

I've been working on a 90 as well, pull the plastics off. The wiring on mine was a mess from years of other people messing with it. You can get a wiring diagram online, just google it. The ignition coils are cheap on ebay.

I'd ohm out the stator/cdi/coil/switches you have now to see what's bad.
