What's the compression?

 

sorry, I didnt do a compression, I dont know how. with the cloth on kids rode quad and will work ok. guess I have to take out carb again and double check.

 

You go to autozone and borrow a comp tester.
Remove the spark plug and screw the tester into the hole.
Apply full throttle and turn motor over till the gauge peaks.

 

thanks, sounds easysy enough. while I do that, as kids were riding quad, it turned off again. took out cloth and tried starting with one hand in air filter hole and now not feeling the air suction. will clean carb again and check compression.
