Default LT 80 Carb Rebuild Quetstion

Never leave a carb rebuild unfinished for a month, there is a very small threaded jet the book calls a secondary air jet, where does it go? Can anyone tell me, and do you really need the rubber shroud over main/pilot jet , mine is kinda shabby ?

That air jet is in the front of the carb and I've never messed with it. It's really small.
I leave that rubber boot off.

I think so. The boot you're reffering to is the air filter boot, right?

That lil hole will have a effect I'm sure.
I wish I could advise on the hole. I've never ever messed with it.
Them lil holes start getting plugged and I get a new ebay carb.

Would you have a carb around you could take a peak and confirm if you see that jet in the right hand hole looking at the 3 holes side of carb ?

Ok as you are looking at the carb: small hole on left has a brass piece at end.
Middle hole is small and deep with nothing showing but hole.
Right hole: has a brass piece down in it (that air jet I presume). There is no slot to unscrew the brass with.
All the carbs I looked at are the same.
