110 cc sunl wiring issue
Ok, I've got this sunl 110 and daughter has been riding it fine for a while now. Just went to ride, but I guess key was left on or something but it was dead. Tried to jump with battery charger but nothing. So I charged it at 1.5 amps until it was ready. But now as soon as battery is hooked up all lights want to come on. And the only way it will start is in off position and with the kill switch wire unhooked from cdi. Any ideas would be great.

your ignition switch is screwed or you have a short in the wire harness some ware. I found it easier just to pull the plastics of the quad and pull the harness out. Untape everything and re solder and shrink wrap all connections.
Another thing to look at is your light wires front and rear. On ours if i plug in the tail lights i cannot start the machine. But i never tried it with the key off..lol. Iv just been to lazy to fix the broken wire going into the light so i just unplugged the light

Ok, so I looked at all wiring and so far it all looks good. The key ignition is a month old. Now as soon as I touch the negative wire to battery it tries to start even with key out and kill switch unhooked. Is there a way to eliminate the black box with all kills and whatever else hooked to it. It has a remote as well but never use it. Thanks for your help.

Update
I also have a 125 taotao so I switched the ignition and it was fine on the 125. Also the cdi, the other box, not sure what that is but no change. As of right now with battery hooked up, key off it will crank but not start. If I pull the white kill wire it will start, and will only turn off once plugged in. All still with key off or even out! Looked at the whole harness and lights, but nothing. Removed alarm as well.
