I sure did thanks. Santa brought me a complete set of the kung Foo series and a Digi-Cue (this thing that goes on the end of your pool stick and tells me exactly how sucky my stroke is).
Hope all went well with you and yours.

No problem! Just got the parts this past Tuesday. Put the new cable on and the throttle is perfect. Rebuilt the carb too and replaced everything just as in the service manual. Now cant get it to start, had trouble starting it before too though so it isn't an entirely new issue. Checked for spark, good. Checked for fuel, good too. Cant seem to figure it out now but hey at least the throttle is fixed now. Lol

Plug wet? If not try hand choking it (2 fingers in front of carb).
Maybe do a compression test.

I pulled the plug and cleaned it off with a rag, wasn't real wet though. I was thinking compression test too. Had it running and riding when I got it last month. I'll let you know what I find out with the compression test.

Shoot starting fluid (type with upper cylinder lubrication) down the plug hole. If it fires then it's a fuel delivery issue...if not, then compression/spark/timing related...

I am going to test the compression this evening hopefully and I will try and pick up a can of starter fluid as well. I will post my findings after performing both tests. Just to confirm...with compression gauge installed in the plug hole, hold throttle wide open and hit start button until needle stops moving?
