Canondale ???
Never seen a dale. When I first got on ATV connection a year or so ago, I read about them being fast, I though they were a bad 2 stroke, now I think they are a 4 stroke. There are some 4strokes that will run with a 2 stroke like KTM, DS650 YAMAHA 426'S, must be the Dale's lump in.
Can some one fill me in? Would like to see some pitcures of them. Where do they come from, who makes them?
Thanks
Dick

Yes the cannondales are 4 strokes. They were made right here in the USA but they went bankrupt. There are alot of people that still run them and they are very fast quads. You can see pictures and read up on them at www.cannondaleriders.com Hope this helps.

Thanks guy. I have a feeling that the Dale is the new Can-Am DS450</end quote></div>
Does that sentence even make sense?? [img][/img]</end quote></div>
In another post it was stated that BRP bought out Cannondale. Looking at the new ds450x. It greatly resembles the Cannondale 440.
Does it make sence now.

Yes ATK did buy them out. They went bankrupt because they were highly overpriced. I owned one. There junk and i highly reccomend not investing in one unless u want to dump your life savings in them. They are too high performance and high maintanance. Getting rid of mine was the best thing i ever did.

You can pick up one for alot less now and if you have the updates done to them they are just as reliable or more reliable as the trx450s,yfz450s, or ltrs. They are also alot faster than the top 3 450s. Believe me I know. I traded my trx450r for a cannondale and it is the best thing I have done! I got alot more quad than i had before. Nothing against honda though. The c-dale has aluminum frame, its fuel injected, etc. Its an awesome machine!

ya thats a pretty good looking machine.. you must have recently gotten it beings you never heard of them before.. i have a lakota 300 ds 650, raptor 660, trx 400 and a trx 450.. no im not rich i just live next to some indians who get something as rediculous as a flat tire on their quad and go buy a brand new one.. Then i buy theirs for dirt cheap! I guess the most reliable and my favorite quad would have to be the 400. you can do anything on those and they never die! also hill climbin machines and the gearing is perfect
