I wouldn’t.
Listening to music while riding would make you unable to hear other quads, bikes, and/or 4x4 trucks. You would also not be able to hear your own quad/bike and would be more likely to do major damage if you had a motor problem. Although there are probably exceptions, most people would be partially distracted by the music and therefore more likely to get hurt.
If I’m out riding and someone hits me because he was listening to puff daddy instead of paying attention to the trail, he better be in good with God.

I listen to music while riding , whats the big deal about it , its not like I can hear anyone around me with my exhaust anyway.
I use an MP3 player with earphones , this topic has been brought up before and turned into a big flame war.
Some of you should try it you will be suprised that with the exhaust of your machines and others you still are
able to hear everyone . There are only so many earphones that fit comfortably in your helmet and they all suck
at loudness so they are not as loud as most think.
As far as 4x4 trucks I don't anyone out there can hear them while riding , even without a helmet.

I went out and bought a cheap pair of JVC headphones from Meijer. I then took a hacksaw and cut the band off so I had two speakers. Then I put them in my helmet. They aren't the best quality, but you can't tell with the drone of the engine. They get just loud enough to block out the most engine, but not too loud that I can't hear things around me. By doing this, i saved $30 because i could have bought $40 helmet speakers from amazon with similar audio quailty. Hope this helps.
