so I found a 2005 John Deere Buck 500 4x4 utilty atv on craigslist. for what I think is a good price. with 450 miles

I have never herd of a John deere atv wondering if you guys can tell me any thing about them. I cant even find another one its almost like they just made one.

I noticed that it lookes like they dont make them any more because I cant find a new one

does any one make them for John Deere or do they make then

are they good atvs. I know my dad owns a couple tractors made by them and they are bullet proof (but the two are completely different)

if any one could tell me any thing about them like do they have a locking front differential and any thing like that

 

John Deere Bucks were made by (what is now) CanAm if I remember correctly. It may have been called BRP back then. It was essentially the same as a "Traxter"??? CanAm is part of Bombardier which makes Ski Doo snowmobiles and watercraft. I don't remember much beyond this. They were kind of an odd looking quad with a pass through so you didn't have to sling your leg over the seat to get on.
