The rear wheels turn together, not independently. When I turn in my back yard when parking the SxS, it tears up the grass. Is the real axle a solid axle or is the rear differential locked up? It's a brand new machine!

Unless you have a turf mode setting for the rear diff,it would be locked. Easiest way to tell is jack the rear end up while in neutral. If both wheels turn when you turn one wheel, then it's a locked differential.

Yep that is how they work unless you get a machine with the turf differential as OPT mentioned. Now the front diff is a different story, they have a limited slip or you wouldn't be able to turn very well, if your machine has a diff lock switch then the front diff will lock also.
