Hi i just wanted to share my Project with this site since i've just joined I currently have a 2000 Yamaha Blaster i bought a friend for 100 dollars and it was in decent condition the frame has a bit rust but i took out the grinder and got rid of that, i am waiting for the paint that should be tommorow also the engine is blown due to the careless maitiance of my buddy forgetting to add oil so i have a blown motor with a busted piston and rings a piece of the piston fell into the engine and the crankbearring near the clutch is fried so i called up a shop and they want 500 dollars for everything but i thought i rather buy an engine off eBay and swap parts then sell my current one as a parts or repair to anyone who wants it for 50 dollars or less, i kinda had a hard time getting the lugs off but then i just used the advice someone gave earlier on this site and grinded off the lug then got at it with a vice grip and i've recently removed the rear brakes and wiring harness hoping to get the new ones soon and i've already spent alot on this project but it's seen better days already 125 on paint and lots more on other parts i need to buy i'll post photos up later..
