Default 420 rancher motor in 88 polaris trail boss?

Very simple question. Would I be able to put a 420 Honda rancher motor in my 88 polaris trail boss frame? I know how to cut and weld if that will be needed but just wondering if it is at all possible before I dive into something that will be too much

All it takes is time, money, determination, the right tools, mechanical knowledge, good at fabrication and welding. I've seen crazier things than this on you tube.

One biggie will be a motor made with a shaft drive going in a frame with a rear axle made for a chain drive.

I have seen people put a lot of work into putting a high hp sled or motorcycle motor into a ATV but not a lot of work for a 28hp 420.
