Default 11 Sprtsman 500 no AWD in reverse

Hey, recently got stuck in the mud and the awd wouldnt work. Used the override prior to pushin the throttle, same as always and only the rear wheels were churnin.. The AWD and caution indicator came on the instrument cluster as usual but didnt work. Any Ideas?

First thing I would do is change fluid and then check it out. Could possibly be the plastic roll cage in the front diff. The "billet aluminum high performance accessory" was listed as an optional replacement on the Polaris parts breakdown on 2011 models. If it's still under the 6 month factory warranty or your extended warranty take it to the dealer if changing fluid doesn't help. Check here under "front gear case" on you model, part #12. http://parts.polarisind.com/Browse/Browse.asp
