2000 Polaris Magnum 325 dies when I apply the breaks

I have a 2000 Magnum 325 that just started dieing when I apply the breaks.
Any idea what could be causeing this?

First thing I'd suspect is belt or clutches or the idle is too low or one other common problem if you have too much throttle slack. You must have 1/8" slack only or the etc contacts will touch and kill the machine when you let off the throttle.
