Fuel Line Insulation

Fuel Line Insulation
I am rebuilding a 2003 Sportsman 700. When I had the fuel tank off for some engine work, I found the aluminum fuel line insulation falling apart. I removed what was left of it and replaced all of the fuel and vacuum lines with Gates fuel line. Do I need to find new insulation to put back on the lines, or will it be fine?
Also, I'd like to replace the radiator overflow hose with new clear tubing, but not sure if it calls for a special hose to resist the heat and the antifreeze. Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I'd get the aluminum sheathing for the fuel lines along with extra foil for the bottom of the tank if you can. Insulation on the lines was to keep the fuel cooler as the tank and lines received a heck of a lot of heat from the exhaust and fuel would get super hot at times to the point of vapor locking on some models. Clear tubing for the overflow isn't a major problem. Any auto supply should have it. Tell em what's it's for. They may have a tougher grade of clear hose that they may recommend.
