Default Polaris Thermostats

Does anyone know who makes the thermostats for Polaris ? I went to get one today and they said $57.00 and I said not a chance. This is a $5 part at best I can go buy them for my pickup at $10 all day long. I had a problem with my fan went factory direct and got it half price so if I can do this with the thermostat I bet it is more than half off.

Thanks

Take it out and bring it with you to the auto parts store and see if you can match one up. That would be your best bet.

NAPA in my area can locate just about anything. Dollars to Donuts your local auto parts place will match it up for you. Last week they found the fan for the radiator for me on the sportsman/

WOW! Only $57.00. My dealer ordered one for me and when it came in he told me it was $97.00. I told him I didn't want it. He charged me $10.00 restocking fee.

LOL AllorNothin. I think I would take a set of tin snips to a Wal Mart thermostat... Seriously, I would do as Billyclub suggests, check a NAPA auto parts. LOL, my wife says NAPA is the magical parts store that always has our hardest to find stuff.
