Default fmf fatty pipe for TrailBlazer 250!!!!!!!

Hi im new to this forum and i just bought an fmf fatty pipe and silencer for my tb 250. i was wondering what this pipe and silencer would do to the overall performance of this bike? also could you tell me how much louder it would be over stock. another thing i would like to know is if i should get a clutch kit for it, i usually drive in mud and rocks and alot of nice gravel roads, and whats the performance like, with this upgrade.

thanx alot
Nic P.

if you dont have anything good to say,THEN JUST KEEP YOUR MOUTH SHUT

cruiser, fmf isnt a good choice for polaris quads.im sure it will be a bit louder than stock but it will actually hurt the machines performance if you dont get the clutch dialed in to the pipe, fmf doesnt give any specs for their pipe so getting it clutched right requires alot of trial and error, good luck and welcome to the forums.

i had an fmf gnarly on my 400 and i had sent an email to fmf along time ago and they said that there pipes were designed to work with stock clutching and jetting so i would put it on and see what you think..it really made a diff in my quad hopefully it will help yours

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

Try it stock and let us know how it does. But if you want to do some clutching to it try a green polairs primary spring, gold polaris secondary and either a set of S53 or S55 weights.THe 53s should get you in the ballpark and the gold secondary will get you a little more backshift while the green primary will get you a bit higher rpms on engagement and top rpm.If it seems to rev too much try the S55s.

If you don't have something nice to say, then don't say anything at all. And work on your grammer.

Put it on and see what happens. Please post back on how it works, i have always been interested in knowing how an fmf pipe would perform on a trailblazer as i almost bought one.

The 250's are very capable of beating Banshees. I put about $1500 into mine and it would smoke 400's. You have no clue what you can do to the 250. Nothing like a piston, port 250 smokin 400's. If you dont know what you are talkin about then stay out. I have been here along time and know ALOT about the little ol 250's.
