Default straight pipe muffler / jetting

2 stroke polaris 300 4x4 has a straight pipe for muffler.. 160 is the stock jet, i went up to 165 seems to be running good. any ideas? if i need to go bigger?

Default straight pipe muffler / jetting

Go bigger until it starts running in aboggy way, then go down a size and you should be good. Also, run it wide open and immediately shut it off and take out the spark plug. It should have a nice golden-darkish brown color when it's right.

thats a pain, but i guess that would be a good idea, running as much fuel until it boggs down,, gunna be a pain i the butt tho, swapping out all them jets..[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-sad.gif[/img](

You don't necessary have to go until it is bogging majorly, just when it starts to hick-up a little. Welcome to the world of jetting.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
